Honeymoon

Last week Henry and I went to Minnesota  on our Honeymoon.
And this is a post about it...

We did some site seeing, Water park of America, Shopping, Camping, Swimming, Mall of America, James Hill House, Sonshine festival and more :)

We stayed the first and last night in a hotel and the rest we tented.

This area was one of my favs. there was a lot of cool buildings!
It would be a lot of fun to shoot a wedding here :)

The James Hill House was def. one of my favorite parts of our trip.
It was REALLY cool!!

Here's a little bit about it.
James J. Hill House. Completed in 1891, the mansion was the largest and most expensive home in Minnesota. It contained 36,000 square feet on five floors including 13 bathrooms, 22 fireplaces, 16 crystal chandeliers, a two story skylit, art gallery, a reception hall nearly 100 feet long and a profusion of elaborately carved oak and mahogany woodwork. Sophisticated technical systems threaded throughout the mansion providing central heating, gas and electric lighting, plumbing , ventilation, security and communication. The final cost, $ 931,275.01 included construction, furnishings and landscaping for the three -acre estate.

The pictures don't really do it justice of how cool it really was!

There was a little 1800's village right by where we were camping, that we walked through.

We found some new hats....
 What do you think? :)

Shopping. Henry found another hat :)

Ice cream was so nice on those hot hot days!

Camping.  6 nights sleeping in a tent, lets just say it was nice to sleep in our own bed when we got home :)

On the last 2 days of our trip we went to the Sonshine festival

Ah, gotta love em porta potties :)

There was a TON of music.
Our Favorite groups that sang were..
Tenth Avenue North

For King and Country

Newsboys

And Casting Crowns.

It was so much fun spending the whole week together. I love my man like crazy :)
